Senior Management Welcome and Bios

When we opened our Munich office in 1970, it was State Street's first international office.

Over thirty years later, we have offices in 25 countries and an investment network spanning 100 financial markets, and our Germany location continues to play an integral role in the success of our clients.

In Munich and Eschborn/Frankfurt, we utilise the talents of over four hundred experienced investment professionals to develop for investors a wide array of flexible, customised financial solutions. Because we have been able to continually deliver innovative products and services that help our clients succeed, we are counted among the leading financial service providers in Germany today, specialising in depotbank, custody, capital markets and structured product services.

Our success — both locally and globally — is due in large part to our keen ability to understand the challenges facing investors as they seek to master the entire investment process in an increasingly competitive, consolidated and globalised marketplace.

Amidst the likelihood of pension reform, stricter banking regulations and standardised financial reporting within the EU — as well as the trend toward outsourcing, investors are facing a dramatically altered financial landscape. But one thing has remained constant. Investors want a partner who can deliver reliable, cost-effective and technology-based solutions to help them adapt and capitalise on market changes.

State Street is that partner.

Because everything we do is built around helping sophisticated investors achieve their investment goals, we have an unrivaled ability to comprehend our clients' individual circumstances while becoming a specialist in their business.

Our dedication to and concentration on four key competencies — research and analytics, investment management, trading services and investment servicing — places State Street in a unique position in the German financial services industry. And, while our clients are primarily Germany- and Europe-based, our experience and perspective knows no boundaries. The scale and scope of our business around the world has provided us experience and abilities unmatched in this market.

We are well positioned to help investors succeed by taking full advantage of the opportunities presented by the historic growth in global financial markets, the growing trend toward outsourcing and the increase in cross-border investing.

Leveraging our commitment to utilising leading-edge technology, the strength of our global network and an intimate knowledge of local markets, State Street can deliver the tools our clients need to make strategic investment decisions.

From our locations in Munich and Eschborn, we are proud to continue partnering with investors today and in the future.
