recognizing State Street's continuing excellence as an innovator and thought leader.
Madge Meyer, executive vice president and head of corporate information technology infrastructure for State Street Corporation,
has been named to the 2004 Computerworld "Premier 100" list, which honors individuals who have had a positive
impact on their organization through technology. (Computerworld, January 5, 2004)
State Street has been named "Best Electronic Securities Lending Reporting Service" in Euromoney magazine's 2003
Technology Awards. The company was recognized for its Securities Lending Performance Reporter (SLPR) and Securities Lending Performance
Analyzer (SLPA). State Street was also commended in other categories, including electronic custody services, online equities
research and multi-bank dealer-to-client FX trading platforms. (Euromoney, November 7, 2003)
State Street has been named in InformationWeek's annual listing of the top 500 innovators in information technology. The
magazine selected U.S. firms that demonstrate a pattern of technological, procedural and organizational innovation. State Street

For the sixth year, State Street has been included in CIO magazine's annual CIO-100 award list. The list recognizes organizations
